Workshop submission will be electronic, in pdf format only. Submitted papers must not exceed 12 pages and should conform to Springer LNCS style (see below). At least one author of each accepted paper must register for the workshop and present the contribution in order to be published in the workshop proceedings. Those wishing to participate providing a live system demonstration should submit a proposal. A separate call for demos will be posted for details at the workshop website. Those wishing to participate without paper or demo submission should submit a brief synopsis of their relevant work by April 10, 2008. Submission systemPaper submission is handled using EasyChair. Electronic submission is closed. FormattingAuthors are strongly encouraged to use LaTeX and the Springer llncs class files available at http://www.springer.de/comp/lncs/authors.html instead of the Word template. While the pages in the final camera-ready form of a paper must be unnumbered (this is the default in llncs style), numbered pages are preferred for reviewing. Page numbering can be turned on using the LaTeX command \pagestyle{plain}. Do not hesitate to contact the workshop chairs for further questions: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it . Workshop proceedingsAll accepted papers will be published as a ECAI workshop notes as well as electronically at http://CEUR-WS.org. Furthermore, the workshop chairs intend to publish a Springer LNAI book of selected workshop papers if the number of submissions and their quality permit. Review processAll submissions will be subject to review by the ExaCt 2008 Program Committee. The workshop chairs and the organizing committee have final authority over the review process and all decisions relating to acceptance of papers. Review criteria include originality of ideas, technical soundness, significance of results, and quality of presentation. The intention is to have three reviews per submission. Notification of acceptance or rejection of submitted papers will be mailed to the corresponding authors.
